�When I realized I wasn�t going to learn the guitar from a book or DVD, and was ready to give up, I was fortunate to hear of a fellow baby boomer who taught finger-style acoustic guitar.

I�ve been taking lessons from Ford for 8 months. His teaching style is tailored to suit the student � young or older.  Ford�s knowledge of music and the guitar was a welcome resource to a beginner.

One of Ford�s best qualities is his ability to assess a students� skill level, then quickly incorporates a challenging lesson plan that best fits the student.  He is gentle but firm.  I appreciate his high level of expectation � it helps me improve more rapidly.�                                                      ...more
